Ever since I was a little girl, I've dreamed of making the world a better place. In the days when I was born, doing business and doing good were two ideas that ran in rival families. You had to choose, and I've always chosen not to choose.

My life's mission has always been to climb the highest peaks while caring for living beings and the planet.

On my path, there were a few pioneers who guided my steps. Businessman and philanthropist Yvon Chouinard of PATAGONIA was undoubtedly one of the most inspiring. I created Message Factory in the hope of making the world a more beautiful, gentle and inspirational place, one garment at a time. B CORP certification confirms that it's possible to be a successful and responsible company.

"B Corp's are companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. All this so you can buy eco-responsibly, enhance your business experience and just do better every day.

B Corp's use the power of business to do more than just make a profit. They use their advantages and growth to ensure a positive impact on the parties involved - and the planet. "

I've never been in any doubt that you can be business people and still be people with heart. To be B CORP is to go through a rigorous process that certifies that we reconcile our corporate mission with our objectives and profit so that we don't have to choose between the two. Finally, you'll understand that long before I knew about BCORP certification, I shared all its values.

So I'm happy to see that times are changing a little, I'm happy that eco-responsible fashion is now taught in schools and sustainable development practices in business courses.

I'm happy to know that the B CORP community is growing around the world and that our two brands, MESSAGE FACTORY and OOM ÉTHIKWEAR, are part of it.

Thanks to you, responsible consumers, and to all our partners who make our mission possible.
